In 1831 this old coaching inn was a wet-fish shop and
retains some quaint features.
The small bar displaying sporting equipment is home to the local quiz team.
The larger music bar, with its ceiling display of records and instruments,
hosts live music every Friday and Sunday.
There is a large conservatory at the rear.
The pub holds two beer festivals, spring & autumn, and all guest beers are
selected from breweries within a radius of 35 miles.
