Gigs
Bridgnorth's No. 1 Live Music Venue - every Friday & Sunday
Friday 2 May
Wallis & Co.
Unencumbered by the traditional band, Paul Wallis brings new clarity
to the electric blues guitar. Supported by a simple acoustic, the full
dynamic range of the instrument can be heard. Playing reworked versions
of old favourites along with more offbeat material, Paul is performing
at a selection of small venues throughout the county. Ably assisted by
local singer songwriter Sam Newth - "Wallis wrings the emotion from his
Fender Stratocaster, each finely crafted note, the product of a
lifetime's playing. From the achingly beautiful to the downright dirty,
this music cannot fail to captivate the blues enthusiast and the novice
gig-goer alike"

Graham Clews Band
Influenced by the best rock/blues/funk of the 60's & 70's, (eg.
Zeppelin / Pfunk / Zappa) the Graham Clews Band have a collection of
self penned songs that feature their flair for writing a great catchy
chorus or hook line. Their songs also showcase the excellent musical
ability that each member brings to the band. The band's overall sound is
rock, but they play in several several styles including blues, funk and
elements of latin

Loose Endz
This is what you get when you bring together a Jazz singer, a
classically trained flautist and a rock guitarist. A strange but great
sounding band which a genre cannot label. They perform anything from
Fields of Gold, Stairway to heaven and an eerie yet mesmerising take on
Simple Minds 'Belfast Child'. Singer, Carole Westwood, was awarded
'Shrewsbury Jazz Singer of the Year' and also 'Birmingham Music Award
winner 2005/6'
